4. "Affordable wedding photographers in Dallas"

Wedding photography can be expensive, but you don't have to break the bank to get beautiful photos. When searching for "affordable wedding photographers in Dallas," affordability doesn't always mean sacrificing quality or a sense of humor. Marty Leonard & Historic 512 Wedding in Fort Worth

We can not get enough of one of our favorite venues here in Fort Worth, Texas, it is the Marty Leonard Lena Hope Chapel, this Chapel is definitely a sculpted masterpiece with it's genius architecture, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that bring the outdoors and light to indoor.

Marty Leonard Chapel Wedding Photography

Our Bride and Groom Julie & Stanley came to us with their hearts wide and mind open. They love IGOR wedding photography for it's creative takes, angles and lighting. Stanley especially enjoyed the way we played with lines and Julie appreciated that we could showcase romance, love and passion while still being classy and traditional.

You may remember this couple from their beautiful modern engagement session in The Arts District in Dallas, which incorporated their cute fur babies :)

The preparation and getting ready shots were done at the classy Omni Hotel in downtown Fort Worth.

The wedding reception was held at the lovely Historic 512, also known as the YWCA, first founded in 1907, the now wedding venue provides lovely vintage architecture and furniture for your wedding reception, and a two story building with ample space to have a dance floor and separate location for photo booth , which IGOR wedding photography in Dallas-Fort Worth also provides, with custom Instagram cut outs and props!

This wedding was an extremely emotional wedding as we had grown close to our clients, and to see our groom express his love for his beautiful wife was a sight to see! This wedding was also filled with funny moments such as the MacGregor and Mayweather fight that the groom had specifically begged his bride if he could use one of the reception tables to broadcast the fight. At one point during the night, the wedding attendees gathered around a table to watch the fight!

Stay tuned for more beautiful Images from our recent trip to Las Vegas & upcoming weddings, including a beautiful multi-cultural wedding at the Fort Worth Omni Hotel.

Wildwood Inn Wedding in Denton, Texas

We're revisiting our lovely couple Jennifer and Dennis or as we like to call them Jenny and Denny. Too catchy not too right? We started with their romantic, with a touch of western engagement session in downtown Fort Worth at the Stockyards. You also saw Jennifer in her beautiful wedding dress, barefoot and blissful during her bridals earlier this year.

Now we get to share the beginning of next chapter with you, their beautiful wedding in Denton, TX at the elegant and European inspired The Wildwood Inn.

Jenny and Denny met at a rugby game that Denny was not formally invited too and it was history after that! Their wedding was romantic, and classic while still laid back in a garden setting at the beautiful wedding venue, The Wildwood Inn in Denton.

We've been to The Wildwood Inn several times and in true Igor wedding photography fashion we like to create something romantic and new each time.

We captured a lot of emotional moments at this wedding, our favorites were when Jenny's dad first saw her after getting ready, we also got some great candid moments of Jenny taking a moment to herself before walking down the aisle.

We always save the best for last, so we stole a few moments from Jenny and her new husband during the reception in order to get some signature night portraits of them in front of the gorgeous venue.

Romantic low light signature edit

IGOR wedding Photography travels to New Orleans

We didn't recently travel from hometown Dallas, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana just for the Crawfish, Gumbo and Oysters... Okay, maybe we did! But we also came for the culture, the unique atmosphere and that N'awlins feel, whenever we get an opportunity to shoot a bride or a wedding couple in Nola, we don't hesitate to catch a flight and create some amazing New Orleans wedding photography. New Orleans provided a variety of scenery with it's eclectic residents, the beautiful willow trees, massive oak trees and the southern French charm. We can't wait to our next New Orleans wedding or engagement/bridal shoot to explore more of what New Orleans and create some fantastic wedding photography for our clients.

Before leaving our hotel, the grand Le Pavillion, located on Poydras St., in the heart of everything wonderful about New Orleans we had access to Bourbon St, and the French Quarter within a few minutes of walking ! We had decided to map a game plan of some places or things that are iconic to New Orleans that we wanted to put our signature wedding twist on.

For all our images featured, IGOR wedding photography took a chance and created wedding magic! We didn't plan to stumble on a community of cyclist with decorative bikes or a jazz band for our couple to slow dance too. But we were there for the moments! Just as we are at every wedding IGOR wedding photography are invited to, we strive to be more then just the best New Orleans wedding photographers, we want to provide amazing wedding photos all over the world.

A must have shot for our New Orleans wedding photography was the iconic Streetcars, a common way for the locals to commute and for tourists as well ! It is scenic and comforting to watch the people around you as you see this lively city wiz past you. It was also a great way for us to spot some restaurants we wanted to try later on! We had the perfect bride and groom, all we needed was the perfect romantic moment. IGOR photography uses a journalistic approach when capturing engagement and bridal session and wedding day moments. We us an organic approach with subtle movements to create the perfect wedding Imagery, we are always looking for emotions and joyful moments.

Another location that we found of interest was the majestic City Park in New Orleans, where we shot a beautiful bridal session in the morning sunrise.

It was a beautiful lush park with moss covered oak trees that seem to hold a million years of stories. To see these trees in person, would leave you thinking " If only trees could talk!" it is also a perfect park to host a small intimate wedding, or a engagement session, we could have easily spent all day there.

IGOR photography chose City Park of New Orleans for it's vegetation and the trees that make up so much of the swamp and lake areas in New Orleans, we also chose this park due to a bridge we had found while doing some research prior. It's a steep arched bridge with rounded pebbles to complete it's design. It was a stunning accompaniment to our Naturally beautiful bride and her stunning  wedding gown.

Although, we chose many great locations to shoot while in New Orleans, there is one location we can not go with out mentioning, The French Antique shop, we agreed this one shot was epic, ( Okay and maybe also the delicious Crawfish at The Three Legged dog). The beautiful shop that was so gracious enough to let us use their charming place, a French Antique Shop, established in 1939 with it's otherworldly elegance. The lights, the chandeliers, everything just makes you want to buy the whole store and furnish your entire home!

An elegant wedding photo in a stunning French Antique Shop at the French Quarter

It was enough to have a stunning bride and handsome groom, but to be blessed with a stunning location that was saturated with everything a New Orleans bride could ask for was perfection. This classic little gem was tucked away on Royal St., when we passed it we had to double back and try our luck with asking if we could snap a few pictures, luckily for us they were gracious host, very accommodating and kind!

IGOR wedding photography thanks the entire city of New Orleans for letting us capture the essence of New Orleans wedding photography and to trek through your playground. We have no doubt we will be back to create more artistic wedding photos and shuck some more oysters!

Contact us today for your destination wedding in New Orleans, or to the Bahamas, and back to Texas. IGOR wedding photography provides you with emotional and timeless wedding imagery to last you a lifetime.

P.s

Stay tuned for the behind the scenes video from our shoots in New Orleans!

1899 FarmHouse wedding Venue, Princeton, TX. Kelly & Phillip

We enjoyed the wedding of our lovely couple Kelly & Phillip at the historic 1899 Farmhouse wedding venue so much. They welcomed us and really made us feel like family, we go over and beyond for all of our wedding clients.

You need wedding photographers who will run with you, climb with you, and explore with you! Igor wedding photography is the best choice for creative wedding photography among all the Dallas & Fort Worth wedding photographers. I think that this Princeton wedding shows the variety of wedding portraits and candid shots that we always get at our weddings.

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.”
– Maya Angelou

Kelly & Phillip knew they had chosen the best Fort Worth wedding photographers when we shared a genuine interest in the initial consultation about their personal story and allotment of time we needed to create awesome wedding imagery.
In each consultation, Igor and I, try to explain the importance of giving us enough time to help us capture magical moments. Our clients have patience and trust in us that they will receive wedding photos that are fine wedding art from one of the absolute best wedding photographers in Fort Worth.
Kelly & Phillip held their wedding at the charming and folksy 1899 Farmhouse wedding and event center in Princeton, TX.
When we arrived, as usual, we thoroughly scout the wedding venue regardless if we have been
there once or hundreds of times. As any amazing wedding photographer should do. We don't just rely on our talent as seasoned wedding photographers, we want to be prepared wedding photographers!

Our beautiful bohemian bride Kelly, being a photographer major herself really understood the importance of lending us the time we needed to not only capture but to also create stunning wedding Images.
We pride ourselves at IGOR wedding photography, for each and every time doing something a little out of the box when it comes to our craft. We don't want to walk away with one great wedding image we want you to receive a stunning wedding portfolio and album from beginning to end, and to uphold our reputation as being one of the best DFW wedding photographers!

Artistic & Elegant country wedding potraits

It truly gives us a great satisfaction when our wedding clients, appreciate that we
have a vision and allow us the time to recreate whatever is going on in our minds! We mainly shoot photo-journalistic photos during the day to tell the story as it unfolds, but we also take our time to create some fine art images that you are going to want to hang up in your living room.

We literally had Kelly & Phillip running through fields, jumping fences, twirling in circles, swinging on swings, it was so much fun, it shows in the photos.
The time allowed to create images as seen here is not much when you add it all together. We generally need about 45-60 minutes of extra time for family, wedding party and couple portraits. Usually half an hour after the ceremony and another half an hour later on to get a different look, once the daylight has changed!

Brides & Grooms don't be scared to take some time away from your wedding reception to get wedding photos that will last you a lifetime. This is also an important reason to hire a 2nd wedding photographer. They can still be inside your wedding with your guests capturing all the moments and festivities during the "cocktail hour".

Contact IGOR wedding photography today to talk to one of the best wedding photographers in Dallas-Fort Worth! Let's set up a private & free consultation at our studio. We can discuss your wedding details, what you envision your images looking like and explain to you how we work & educate you on amazing wedding photography! A Fall Wedding to Remember-Weatherford-Diamond H3 Ranch

You remember the awesome elegant couple (all of our couples are awesome) we wrote about a few weeks ago?

I'll refresh your memory Ellisa is a doctor who occasionally travels to Africa and other countries to help women and children with medical care, and Jason is an architect who also accompanies his now wife to these countries in need to help out as well! Did I mention they are animal lovers and adopt animals too? And of course we are in love with them!

Fine Art Wedding Photography

Well we finally had the highly anticipated wedding day, I am not much a crier well, yes I am ( Igor would probably want me to clarify this is his fiancé writing now lol). Okay I am emotional, but weddings ironically do not usually strike emotion in me since I'm in working mode. But whoa! I had all the feels at this wedding y'all.

The theme spoke to fall! The colors were deep, rich and vibrant. It's hard to get the true feeling of fall in Texas, with our ever so changing weather but our bride nailed it at her wedding. Complete with s'mores, hot cocoa, games for the kids and adults, and tea and blankets to wrap up in with your loved ones.

It is not because we want you to spend all of your money on us (But thank you :) we know that this moment happens once! So we strongly encourage our brides and grooms to opt for video coverage of your wedding day. At IGOR Wedding Photography we have an amazing staff of second wedding photographers and wedding videographers who will ensure you that you will get great coverage and the life's precious moments and stories carefully recorded .

With that being said, I am so very pleased my bride changed her mind and decided to have video coverage because her ceremony couldn't have been more breathtaking. It was not only a joining of two hearts and two lives that day but a whole community. They praised the couple and even sang worship on a hilltop with green pasture views. How's that for wedding goosebumps?

But the wedding day emotions didn't end there, the reception was just as heartfelt. As the maid of honor poured out her love for her best friend and explained to the rest of the guest just what kind of amazing person our bride Ellisa is, and how lucky Jason was to have her.

I can't wait to shoot their anniversary pictures and family to come, again I will say we were fortunate to have this couple choose us to capture this amazing day!

The Tynan's Happily Ever After Wedding-Fort Worth Baptist Church

Sara & Seth were a couple we met almost a year ago to the date and Bride Sara was set on having a fairy tale theme wedding complete with a dress only fit for a princess!

The wedding ceremony took place at the North Fort Worth Baptist Church, and the bride Sara had revealed to us that the most important moment for us to capture would be her entrance down the aisle and the reaction of her groom, we were pleasantly surprised to see the emotion the groom displayed as he saw his bride for the first time in her beautiful ball gown styled wedding dress. Of course the groom teared up and we loved catching those priceless moments!

We have shot hundreds of weddings, and till this day we are never quite sure what to expect, but Sara was by far our giddiest bride! She smiled the entire time down the aisle and while exchanging her vows! She just couldn't contain her joy, it was awesome to see!

After the ceremony we took the formal group shots while the rest of the party headed to the reception at the Radisson Hotel Fort Worth Fossil Creek.

The reception was an intimate group of family and friends, we watched a slideshow of Sara & Seth growing up and their love for each other in pictures slide by!

Sara wanted one last image of everyone who attended the wedding so we ended with a wedding party group shot! These are always fun to do and the couple always love to have a photo of everybody!

It's fortunate for us to have met such a lovely couple who now have become not only lifelong clients but dear friends as well.

Let us capture your fairy tale beginning! Contact us today to schedule a free consultation!

Lights Festival Fine Art Bridal session, Grandview, Tx

It was another day in our Photography studio located in North Fort Worth, Texas and we were itching to do a bridal shoot! At IGOR Photography we are always trying to do something different whether it is at a wedding, portrait session or an event, just a little out of the box with creativity and our own personal style and editing .

It was while scrolling through social media, when my fiancé and I saw this lights festival coming to the Dallas area. Initially we were going to buy tickets for ourselves, it would make for an interesting date night right? Why not make a date night especially tailored for us, a styled bridal shoot it is!

We headed to our favorite bridal boutique located in Burleson, and found the wedding gown and veil that would complete this mini bridal shoot. Featured below: Enza by Maggie Sottero designs. A wedding dress with layered tulle-train and an embezzled belt to accent the waist. To that we added a beautiful cathedral length wedding veil with crystal edge. What a stunning combination!

Now, let's light the Sky! Our bride Sheridan, was a lovely sight to see. The lanterns weren't the only thing to light the sky that night as many people congratulated her with lighted torches and complimented her beauty, we played with perspective & depth of the many lanterns being set a sail to drift in the night air. It was an amazing fairy tale sight, a beautiful experience!

Technically and logistically this light festival bridal shoot was pretty demanding. We had to carefully set up the right flash lighting to light her up at night without overpowering the glowing light from the lanterns, that was important because we didn't want to kill that beautiful and magically lighted mood. Another even harder challenge was to time the exposures while avoiding capturing to many people walking around the bride. Like photographing a wedding, we had to get it right the first time, we really didn't have time to do any retakes, but with careful planning and execution we got exactly the shot that we had envision, and we had so much fun doing it!

This fine art bridal shoot for IGOR wedding photography, was a great way to capture the essence of what we love to do in a structured setting and on your wedding day, there are endless possibilities.

Can we say we met at a coffee shop? Online Dating!

We are in a new millennium and what was considered the norm is not norm or standard dating practices anymore. At IGOR wedding photography, one of the first questions we ask our couples to get to know them better is "How did you meet?" we love hearing your love stories !

You would be surprised to hear that about 60-70% of our couples met online! It's funny to ask and then they look at each other unsure of whether to tell us the whole truth or not, and I already know what they are going to say! That they met online, it is nothing to be ashamed of or having to come up with some coffee shop story. Online dating done safely of course, is a great way to meet your potential partner and efficiently weed out the bad eggs .

Dallas Engagement Photography at the Dallas Arboretum

And if you are one of those couples who met online when you choose us to be apart of your day as your photographers, we will be sharing one more thing in common as well ;)

Contact IGOR photography today to discuss how you envision your wedding day captured, tell us your love story however it began , we love to hear it.

An Indian Wedding at Southfork Ranch

We love to shoot Indian weddings in Dallas, and this Indian (Hindu) wedding in particular was one for the ages. Indian weddings usually last several days, they have a lot of guests, they incorporate a lot of traditions and rituals, and most importantly they are a lot of fun, with an abundance of colorful clothing, decorations, plenty of food and with much joy, singing and dancing. Weddings are one the most important celebrations in Indian culture, and they know how to celebrate it in grand style.

Rachna and Prasad's Hindu Wedding Event lasted 3 full days!

I'm here trying to briefly explain how this Indian wedding was celebrated, not all Indian weddings have the exact same rituals and traditions, and I'm sure I have forgotten some parts of it, but this is how essentially most Hindu weddings unfold.

Day one: The Pithi and Mehndi Ceremony, at Noah's Event Venue in Las Colinas, Irving.

First on day one was the Pithi ceremony for Rachna, the beautiful Indian bride.
It's a cleansing ceremony, generally held one or two days before the wedding, in which the bride and groom are rubbed with turmeric paste in a beautification process.
It's a celebration of love and happiness for the one's who are being married where the relatives come and prepare for the ceremony. The Pithi ceremony indicates that now the girl or boy has entered into adulthood and is ready for the marriage. The groom also has a well-planned Pithi ceremony, but in this case we only covered the Rachna's Pithi.

After the Pithi ceremony they started the Mehndi part of the ceremony, which is a casual event where henna paste ("Henna Tattoo") is placed on the guests, family and the bridal parties hands/feet in intricate patterns. Mehndi is one of the sixteen adornments of the bride,  it's a women's function, which takes place a midst musical beats of Dholak, with women singing traditional songs for a prosperous marital life of the bride.

After the ceremony they had dinner and social mingling with the guests.

Day Two: The Ceremony for the bride's family at the SLPS Community Center in Irving.

This was a full day of rituals, ceremony and gift giving in front of more than 800 guests. Including the Mayara, also called the ‘Maternal Uncle’s Ceremony,’ , where the uncle brought gifts for the mothers of both the bride and the groom, including the dresses and jewelry they where wearing at the wedding day.” This is also the first time during the 3 days that the groom and bride saw each other. There was also a large buffet dinner after the rituals and a lot of social mingling.

Day Three: The Indian wedding Ceremony (Vivaah Sanskar), at Southfork Ranch in Parker.

The Indian culture celebrates marriage as a sacrament (Sanskara), a rite enabling two individuals to start their journey in life together.

In order to best understand an Indian (in this case a Hindu) wedding ceremony is to think about it as a romantic story where the bride and groom arrive separately and meet and fall in love. The traditional host for the wedding ceremony are the bride's parents. The groom and his family are the guests arriving. The ceremony shows the transition for the Bride and the Groom, from the first stage of their lives, to their second stage of their lives as a married couple. Indian weddings are also about two families being brought together socially, with as much emphasis placed on the families coming closer as the married couple.

This is how this wedding day unfolded:

Baarat (The Groom's Processional):
Prasad, the groom arrives at the venue in a car with a lot of dancing and cheering from the guests and family members.

Ponkvu:
Bride's mother receives the groom and performs a traditional puja to offer her blessing. She will place a clay pot on the ground during the Baraat for the groom to step on and break, This will assess his strength before he takes the brides hand in marriage, this is an important symbolic part.

Jaimala, the Pre-Wedding Garland Ceremony:                                                                          Bride and groom exchanges garlands as he arrives. The Families lift up the bride and the groom on their shoulders. The groom is lifted higher than the bride to show that the bride cannot take the groom from his friends and family.

Madhuparka:                                                                                                                                 The groom Prasad walks then with Rachna's mother to where the ceremony is to be held (the Mandap). His feet are then washed and the bride's brothers and sisters then tries to steal his shoes, if they succeed, the groom must then offer money to get them back. This was a wild part of the day, they really tried to steal his shoes, it's no joke!
The groom went to sit on the stage until the brides arrived.

Kanya Agamana:                                                                                                                                The bride Rachna is then walked down the aisle with her uncle, with one flower girl and no bridesmaids. She then sits across from the groom with a sheet (the Antarpaat) in between so they can't see each other. Once the sheet is lowered, family members started trowing flowers at them in celebration. The couple them exchanged garlands for a second time, this time at equal level.

Madhupak:
The bride’s father now offered the groom yogurt and honey as the expression of welcome and respect.

Kanyadaan:                                                                                                                                         The Brides father now performed the Kanyadaan by tying the hands of the couple together in a marital knot (the Hast Melap) he ties a marital knot between the bride and the groom. With this gesture, the father of the bride is giving away his daughter to the groom.

Mangalphera:
The couple then walks around the fire four times in a clockwise direction representing four goals in life: Dharma, religious and moral duties; Artha, prosperity; Kama, earthly pleasures; Moksha, spiritual salvation and liberation. The bride leads first, signifying her determination to stand first beside her husband in all happiness and sorrow.

Then the Groom tied the Mangal Sutra (beaded necklace) around the bride's neck, after that the Bride with the groom's help touched 7 betel nuts with her feet.
The groom then applied a small dot of vermilion, a red powder (Sindhoor), to the bride’s forehead and welcomed her as his partner for life. They are now a married couple!
Then the married couple went to the front of the stage to bow to family and friends to get their blessings.

The rest of the day was more like a traditional American wedding day, they had the family photos taken, that took some time since it was a large family.
After that they couple went to clean and change clothes while the guest and family had a casual cocktail hour with games for the guests to play, by the famous Southfork Ranch Mansion (from the TV soup opera Dallas).

After the cocktail hour the wedding reception started with speeches, entertainment, cake cutting and a lot of dancing and singing.

This was certainly a wedding to remember! Contact us today if you are getting married and need stunning wedding photography coverage!

Once Upon A Tynan: Trinity Park Engagement Session

"A Fairy Tale Engagement Photo Session"
We too believe in Happily ever afters and Fairy tale endings!

Trinity Park Engagement Photography

Our bride Sara and our Groom Seth were so much fun to work with, when planning for her engagement shoot, she asked for somewhere woodsy, possibly with bridges, to go along with their Fairy Tale wedding theme.
She decided on Trinity Park for her engagement session location, and it was a perfect location! Trinity Park is located in Fort worth conveniently near the Botanical Gardens, it provides an array of backdrops from the large overgrown, winding trees, to charming bridges, a duck pond and a great view of the Downtown skyline.

Sara & Seth stay true to their faith and had us incorporate pictures with her grandmothers bible and her and her groom in prayer. We love to stay true to what captures you as a couple in your natural state.

At Igor Wedding Photography, engagement sessions are a way for us to really connect to our clients and express their love through our creative Imagery, every once awhile we let Sara see what we were capturing and her words were "Oh my, that is like right out of a movie"!  They were really open to different Ideas and even climbing trees to allow us to be creative .

A Rainy Botanic Garden Engagement Session

We get asked pretty often by our couples "What's the best place to choose if we want a variety of places to shoot, with greenery and foliage"? and although we have several green locations to choose from our standby choice is often the Botanical Garden of Fort Worth, it's often convenient, inexpensive and the variety of backdrops is endless. Our couple Pi & Kyle, wanted their session to be fun and casual.

Pi and Kyle were very outgoing and it came across in their engagement pictures, at Igor Wedding Photography we do not let bad weather get in the way or reschedule, we invite the challenge, as the saying goes.. " A little rain never hurt anybody" and the rain often makes for some fun, and interesting shots, and it applied to this day as well, they met and graduated at FIU, so the umbrella served as a significant reminder of where they both fell in love and played a part in shielding them from the rain as well. We do not often use props, but we believe if it helps in telling your story or holds some symbolic meaning, then by all means they should be incorporated, and, it is always fun to try something new and creative.

Contact Igor Wedding Photography today and let us capture your story and create some amazing Imagery!

Linh & Tommy: Vietnamese Betrothal

We love celebrating events from different cultures, and no event is too intimate or to large for us to carefully document at Igor Wedding Photography.

The event featured here is a Vietnamese Engagement dinner, also known as a Betrothal ceremony, they had this special event at their parents home in Irving, TX, this ceremony is a public announcement that the couple is preparing to marry and that the focus is on each other and usually combined with an engagement party (le dinh hon). It began with future bride Linh changing into a beautiful hot pink dress, traditionally worn at Vietnamese ceremonies called an ao dai, her really close friends dressed similarly but in different vibrant colors, they prepared the table with Vietnamese cookies and traditional Asian sweets.

Guest began to arrive, and they exchanged endearments, it also included the exchange of several symbolic gifts wrapped in red for good luck and a time to receive blessings from both families. Gifts often include Asian areca nuts, betel leaves, tea, cake, fruits, wines, a roasted pig, and other delicacies that are beautifully arranged and carried by unmarried women and men to the future bride’s home. If the future bride’s parents accept the gifts, it's a sign that they approve of the upcoming marriage between the couple.

After the gifts are accepted, the future bride was walked down the hallway by her parents, it was a beautiful moment that we were honored to be able to capture. The couple proceeds to light incense for the ancestors and serve tea to the elders for both families. Usually then the bride would prepare a feast for both families at their parents home, but in our couples case they just went out to for a restaurant dinner afterwards!

As you can witness from these photos, at Igor wedding Photography we really enjoy Asian and multicultural weddings and events! Contact us today!

Ashton Gardens: Lauren & Brent's wedding, Corinth, Texas

I've shot a few weddings in my time, okay.. a lot of weddings and every once and awhile I meet a couple who redefine love for me , and show me why I initially began this venture. While I love the creative, artistic side of photography, weddings like Lauren and Brent's help me to fall in love all over again with my profession. It makes me happy!

The event venue was an absolutely beautiful chapel by the name of Ashton Gardens, located in Corinth, Texas. It's a unique chapel, with distinctive floor to ceiling windows, surrounded by plentiful gardens ,fountains and lush greenery.

Our Bride and Groom , opted to do a first look, featured here. This is an event I love to capture, not many couples choose this , often the bride not wanting to reveal the dress before the ceremony, but if you are wanting to capture those tear jerk moments, with no one around, I find that this is the best way to get them! This moment allows for an intimate moment for you and your spouse, for the realization that everything you have been waiting for, where your lives join and continue as one. This very day!

Every picture captured with Lauren and Brent invoked love, and the couple nearly forgot I was there! They were simply lost in each other, and everyone else around them felt it too!

At Igor Wedding Photography we love to tell love stories through beautiful photos, are you looking to capture beautiful imagery of your romantic wedding day? Contact us today, let us help you tell your story with our fine art wedding photography.

Sunset bride at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden

We always enjoy to photograph weddings and bridal portraits at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth, it is the oldest botanic garden in Texas, a 109 acre living museum with over 2500 species of native and exotic plants, providing endless variety of scenery for weddings, bridals and engagement photos.

Our beautiful bride Charity chose the "Lower Rose Garden", at the right time of the year this garden has thousands of fragrant rose blossoms that pleases the sight and the senses. The highlight of The Rose Gardens is the grand entrance, that gives a European elegance and scenic views of the entire garden, originally inspired by Italy's renowned Villa Lante.

The Hall Of State Wedding in Fair Park, Dallas

Once in a while I do a styled wedding or bridal shoot together with some great wedding vendors. I only do it if I have a strong concept that I want to photograph and if it's something that I have never done before.

The reason for doing this glamorous styled wedding shoot at The Hall Of State in Fair Park in Dallas was to capture a wedding in this stunning venue and to showcase it's architecture and to combine it with a luxurious wedding party. The theme and style had to be classy and glamorous with a mixture of both vintage and contemporary fashion feel.

It was a pleasure to work together with Dominique from the Luxe Society Event Group on this styled wedding. We had a really strong vendor team for this shoot, including an amazing Galia Lahav designer gown, provided exclusively by Neimann Marcus Bridal Salon in Dallas. The pretty Bridesmaids dresses were provided by Pence & Panache, the unique jewelry by Kendra Scott and the sharp Groom and Groomsmen suits by J. Hillburn in Dallas. Please see below for the other terrific Dallas wedding vendors that made this shoot so fantastic.
